How offices, hospitals, malls, factories and data centres use Omaya
Omaya is used in eleven kinds of place: shopping malls, theme parks and attractions, offices and corporate campuses, hotels and resorts, medical centres and hospitals, retail stores, education, event and exhibition centres, manufacturing and warehouses, smart buildings and facility management, and data centres.
Each kind of site starts with a different question. Malls want footfall, dwell and flow per floor and zone, and washrooms cleaned by traffic. Offices want to know which meeting rooms are booked but empty and to switch off air-conditioning for nobody. Hospitals want equipment found in seconds and waiting areas that do not overflow. Factories and warehouses track tools, trolleys and pallets, and protect lone workers with fall and man-down alerts. Data centres watch rack heat, UPS and cooling as plant.
The same platform, rule engine and audit trail serve all of them, configured for what each site actually needs.

Frequently asked questions
Is Omaya only for large sites?
No. It runs one site or a hundred, each with its own timezone and roles.
What hardware do we need?
Bluetooth gateways on each floor, and tags for the people or assets you want to find. Gateways from Dusun, MOKO, Milesight, MikroTik and Minew work with Omaya, any LoRaWAN gateway works through ChirpStack, and radars, door counters, environment sensors and energy meters add counts and readings.
How long until we are live?
Most sites are running by the end of week two: a day or so for the physical install, then connecting systems and tuning rules while the platform is already producing numbers.
