Omaya supported hardware: gateways, radars, tags and sensors
Omaya works with hardware you can buy today from more than one maker, over Bluetooth and LoRaWAN. What you install decides what the numbers can mean, so a project starts from the question each space must answer: a radar or counting sensor for how many people are in a room, tags and three or more gateways to find an asset, a people counter for a busy entrance, an environment sensor for temperature and air quality, a door contact, a leak probe or an energy meter.
Gateways with setup guides include Dusun DSGW, MOKO MKGW-mini, MK107 and MKGW1/3, MikroTik KNOT, Minew G1, Milesight UG56 and UG65, any LoRaWAN gateway through ChirpStack, and anything that speaks MQTT. Radars and counters include Minew MSR01-A and MSR01-B and Milesight VS370. Presence and door sensors include MOKO S01P, Aqara P1 and FP300 through Home Assistant, and Milesight EM300-MCS. Tags, wristbands and buttons come from Minew and MOKO, and the MOKO SO2R measures distance for bins, tanks and bays.

Frequently asked questions
What hardware do we need?
Bluetooth gateways on each floor, and tags for the people or assets you want to find. Gateways from Dusun, MOKO, Milesight, MikroTik and Minew work with Omaya, any LoRaWAN gateway works through ChirpStack, and radars, door counters, environment sensors and energy meters add counts and readings.
What if our sensor is not listed?
Many sensors can be added through Sensor Onboarding without waiting for a release. Ask us about yours.
Can tags count people in a room?
Tags count tagged people only. For a headcount of everyone, use a radar or a counting sensor.
